Shopping intelligence for girls who want the good stuff
How we choose

Editorial Standards

The standards behind Girls Who World recommendations, deal scoring, launch coverage, updates and affiliate independence.

Selection before volume

We would rather publish nothing than fill the site with weak deals or generic launch coverage. Products and stories should clear a meaningful editorial bar.

Deals

Deal coverage considers product popularity, depth of discount, rarity of the markdown, current demand, retailer credibility, inventory urgency and overall purchase intent. The percentage off is only one part of the decision.

Launches and news

We prioritize products that are genuinely new, visually strong, recognizable or rising, useful to a shopper and not already overcovered without a new angle. Early international reporting may be used to identify launches, but important product details should be checked against primary brand or retailer sources whenever possible.

Corrections and updates

Prices, inventory, launch dates and promotions change quickly. We update material facts when we learn they have changed. Expired deal pages should not be presented as current offers.

Affiliate relationships

Affiliate relationships can affect whether a link earns revenue, but they should not determine the editorial verdict. We can recommend a product with no commission, decline a commissionable product, or tell readers to skip something.

AI and automation

Automation may assist with discovery, organization and drafting. Editorial approval remains a separate step. Automated discovery is not the same thing as publication.
