The Paddington comeback is no longer just a nostalgia story. Chloé has now turned the revived 2005 icon into a full new bag family for Winter 2026, introducing the Paddington Sling in elongated, softer silhouettes that feel much more aligned with how people are carrying bags now.
The important part is the shape. Rather than simply shrinking or recoloring the original, Chloé has stretched the Paddington into an east-west proportion, kept the oversized leather-wrapped padlock and stud hardware, and softened the body in smooth nappa lambskin. The result reads less like a literal archive reissue and more like a new chapter built from one of the house's most recognizable codes.
The U.S. lineup currently spans three distinct use cases. The Large Paddington Sling east-west bag is the statement version at $3,990, measuring 18.1 inches wide and designed to sit on the shoulder. The Small Paddington Sling top-handle bag comes in at $2,950 with both a top handle and adjustable shoulder strap. The most accessible entry is the Mini Paddington Sling pouch, priced at $1,490, sized to fit a phone and essentials.
That price spread matters because the mini gives shoppers a way into the Paddington revival at well under half the price of the large version, while the small is probably the most practical everyday buy: structured enough to feel polished, but still wearable crossbody or on the shoulder.
This is stronger than another seasonal color update. Chloé is taking a bag with real Y2K recognition and changing its proportion, carry options, and price ladder at the exact moment east-west bags are still dominating luxury accessories. If you loved the idea of the Paddington return but found the original shape too bulky, the Sling is the version worth looking at first.
The collection is rolling out through Chloé boutiques and Chloe.com in September 2026.
