Louis Vuitton has given La Beauté its first limited-edition collection, and this is more than a packaging switch.
Created through a dialogue between Cosmetics Creative Director Dame Pat McGrath and Women’s Artistic Director Nicolas Ghesquière, the collection celebrates 130 years of the Monogram through two opposing color stories: Monogram Infrarouge and Monogram Dune.

Infrarouge is the bolder side. Its LV Ombres palette comes in black and red Monogram canvas and opens to four shades arranged like a Monogram flower. The coordinating LV Rouge satin lipstick is shade 715, housed in matte black with a red lacquered LV signature, alongside limited-edition balm and beauty accessories.
Dune is the softer counterpoint, built around sand, rose-gold and muted mineral tones. The LV Ombres palette in shade 724 pairs icy white, rose gold, hematite grey and a pale anise tone with pink reflection. Its coordinating satin lipstick, also shade 724, is a warm rosy beige.
The shopping detail that matters: these are not just seasonal colors. Louis Vuitton also created matching lipstick pouches, brush sets, mattifying-paper cases, Nice Beauty cases and other small leather goods in the two Monogram treatments. The makeup is refillable, so the collectible case is designed to stay in rotation after the limited shades are gone.
Girls Who verdict: this is a true luxury first look worth knowing early. It is the first limited-edition chapter of Louis Vuitton beauty, it ties directly to the house’s Monogram anniversary, and the strongest pieces blur the line between makeup and collectible fashion object. If you are only buying one piece, the eyeshadow palette makes the clearest case for the premium because the limited canvas compact is the point.
